Six Flip stages
Each step re-measures and animates between layouts, so the element genuinely transforms rather than cross-fading.
Scroll Effect Templates · v1.0.0
One element carries an entire scrolling story.
Monolith takes a single element and re-composes it six times down the page using GSAP Flip - it grows, splits, relocates and reforms, and the visitor never loses track of it because it is always the same object.
It is the most restrained idea in the catalogue and often the most effective. There is no grid of images fighting for attention; there is one thing, and it keeps changing what it means.
Best for: Product narratives and about pages that need to hold attention to the bottom.
Each step re-measures and animates between layouts, so the element genuinely transforms rather than cross-fading.
One object throughout means no re-orientation cost at each scroll beat.
Final positions are clamped inside the page bounds, so the last step lands centred at max scroll.
Static files with GSAP vendored locally.
Yes. Each stage is a data-step element; the timeline iterates over whatever it finds.
Not any more. Flip was a Club GreenSock plugin but became free from GSAP 3.13. This ships with 3.15.
